From the beginning of my career in audiovisual work, I felt deeply drawn to film editing. The relationship between one shot and the next has the power to transform the meaning and perception of an entire scene—and even of the film as a whole. Even the precision of a single cut can determine whether an action flows seamlessly or is deliberately interrupted.
Over time, I began exploring shorter formats. Through my work at film festivals, where I edited promotional spots for sections that often brought together very different kinds of films, I developed a particular interest in the craft of trailer editing. For a large part of my professional life, I have created trailers and teasers for films, and it remains one of the areas of filmmaking I enjoy most.
